Personal LogDoor User's Guide

Introduction

Welcome to Personal LogDoor. The Personal LogDoor(TM) Web Sharing Monitor from Open Door Networks Inc. works in conjunction with Apple's Personal Web Sharing and compatible personal Web servers to provide you with information about accesses to your Web documents that would otherwise not be available. With Personal LogDoor, you can see in real time how your files are being accessed and which files are most popular. Personal LogDoor tells you about bad links in your pages, and helps you track them down. You can also see if files are being shared that you hadn't intended to, spot possible attempted access violations, track historical trends of accesses to your server, and create summary access reports in both plain text and HTML formats. Personal LogDoor adds easy-to-use power to your personal Web server.

Personal LogDoor also lets others find and access your personal Web server much more easily by making your server visible over your internal AppleTalk network, allowing AppleTalk users to see your server in the Chooser and to access it simply by double-clicking its name.

To use Personal LogDoor, just drag it to your hard drive and double-click it. For further details, see Getting Started.
